During April we had an extremely busy time. Educators from Australia, New Zealand, America and Lithuania joined for our Finnish Nature Experience.
The weather varied from cold, winter to warm Spring days. We had to even offer snowsuits because of how dramatically the weather had changed. During this tour, we go on a small adventure learning about Finnish natures, some fun facts about Finland, Playing Finnish games such as frisbee golf, Mölkky. Mölkky is a word I can not say, however luckily we have a true Finn on the team to ask everyone else to pronounce it correctly! Preparing a fantastic tasting salmon soup, and cooking Tikku Pulla (Stick Buns) on the open fire. However before we eat or do anything on the open fire. They must learn how to make the fire using traditional methods!
In a few days time we will welcome another group from America for this fantastic tour!
